If a burglar cuts the phone line, a storm takes down the phone wires or you lose phone service for any reason, the alarm system will still work (sounding a local siren) but the signal will not get through to the central station.

A typical alarm system transmits its signal to the central station over the phone line. The weak point to anyone’s security is the phone line. Our central station responds to many different signals that require dispatch of fire or police authorities as well as notification to our customers and their primary key holders. State of the art central station software can provide e-mail reports of alarm history or opening/closing of your business.

We always have a direct link to your alarm system and our backup generator insures that we will be there when your alarm system notifies us of a problem. and is staffed by our employees 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. United Alarm’s central station is locally owned and operated in Brookfield, CT.
